Transmission Flush

Over time and miles, heat in the transmission causes the protective conditioners in transmission fluid to break down.  This results in the accumulation of oxidized deposits in the outer walls of the transmission’s torque converter.  Those deposits break away from the fins of the torque converter and clog the narrow passages of the transmission.  This restricts fluid flow and disables the fluid’s ability to cool and protect vital gears, clutches and valves in the transmission.  Shifting may become eratic, seals harden and leaks occur.  Fluid this contaminated causes premature transmission failure.

The best cure for worn out fluid is a BG Transmission Service.  First, effective cleaners loosen and dissolve baked-on deposits from the transmission, valve body, torque converter, pan, filter element, transmission lines and transmission cooler.

Then, specialized equipment removed the old fluid and replaces it with long lasting BG transmission fluid and conditioners.    Simply draining fluid during a service and leave up to 1/3 of the oil fluid in the system, mixing with the new.  (See middle valve in pic)   BG Transmission Service cleans the entire system of gums and varnishes, removing up to 95% of oil contaminated fluid.  Long lasting BG transmission fluid and conditioners are then added to prolong the life of your transmission.  BG Transmission Service should be performed every 30,000 miles for a long, trouble-free transmission life.   Ask us about a BG Transmission Service for your vehicle.
